About TalkPlace
TalkPlace.es is an independent information project about cities, districts, streets, and the real conditions of life in Spain.
Our goal is to help people understand a place before renting, buying property, moving, or living there for an extended period. We look beyond the location on the map and consider everyday factors: terrain, walkability, transport, parking, noise, traffic, greenery and shade, seasonality, natural risks, infrastructure, and other characteristics of the environment.
TalkPlace is not a real-estate agency, property appraiser, public authority, police force, medical organisation, or official measurement laboratory. The project information is informational and research-oriented.
We distinguish official data, our own field observations, our own measurements, calculations, and user opinions. These categories must not be presented as one another.
Commercial cooperation does not give a client the right to change confirmed facts, measurement results, official risk zones, the confidence level, or an independent assessment of a location.

Editorial policy
1. Independence
A commercial partner may fund research into an area or an advertising placement, but it does not receive the right to change confirmed results, official risk zones, field measurements, the confidence level, or the independent assessment.
2. Facts and opinions
Official data, our own measurements, observations, calculated conclusions, and user opinions are identified and handled separately.
3. Sensitive claims
We avoid publishing unverified accusations, claims about the criminal behaviour of specific people, and other information that could cause unjustified reputational harm.
4. Right to provide information
An interested person or organisation may report an error, provide supporting documents, or share its position. Receiving a report does not automatically remove the material; it starts a review.
5. Corrections
Confirmed material errors are corrected. Where important, we may indicate that the material has been substantially updated.
6. User materials
Reviews may be moderated in accordance with the Terms of Use. Serious allegations without sufficient basis may be rejected or removed. The editorial team does not rewrite the meaning of a user review on behalf of its author.
7. Artificial intelligence
AI may be used as an auxiliary tool for analysing, classifying, processing, and preparing materials. The operator of TalkPlace is responsible for published editorial material. Realistic images of real places created or substantially changed with generative AI are not presented as field documentation and are labelled when required or necessary to prevent misunderstanding.
8. Advertising
Advertising and sponsored materials must be visually distinguishable from independent editorial material. Commercial cooperation may not covertly change the independent result.
